The Owners
Edgard Ayala, a chef from Lima, Peru, moved to Red Lion and opened Rocoto Peruvian and Mexican Grill. After a few fantastic years, he decided to open a second location in Leader Heights in July of 2023.

Brendan and BreAnn, after managing the Leader Heights location since the day it opened, took over completely in April of 2025. We now own it, working there every day as a husband-and-wife duo.
Peruvian Specialties
With the help of our chef, Sebastian Navarro-Ayala, Rocoto Leader Heights serves authentic and flavorful Peruvian dishes. Some favorites include lomo saltado, pollo a la brasa, and empanadas. We also offer a selection of Mexican items, such as fajitas, burritos, and tacos.

You can call ahead, order delivery on DoorDash, place an order online to pick up, or simply come on in and talk to us. We look forward to serving you!
